Innovating in FPGA Technology
Our story
Menta traces its roots back to 2005 within the Micro-electronics department of LIRRM, under the leadership of Mr. Lionel Torres. Currently serving as the Director of Polytech Montpellier, Lionel Torres envisioned the development of an eFPGA within his department.
Two years later, Professor Torres’s endeavors led to the first iteration of the eFPGA family, which was subsequently refined and successfully developed by the teams at Menta, established in 2007.
The momentum accelerated swiftly and favorably. In 2013, Menta secured €1.2M in funding based on the V2 architecture of its technology. Then, in 2015, two patents were filed, marking Menta’s first major commercial success.
Today, the story continues. Menta eFPGA remains steadfast in perfecting its leading global products to meet the ever-evolving demands of the micro-electronics industry. With a passionate and determined team, innovation remains at the core of every project, shaping the future iterations of eFPGAs, poised to mold the world of tomorrow.
