The Laboratoire d’Informatique, de Robotique et de Microélectronique de Montpellier (Laboratory of Computer Science, Robotics and Microelectronics of Montpellier) is a is a joint research unit of University of Montpellier and the French National Center for Scientific Research (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, CNRS). Its research activities fully position the LIRMM at the heart of information, communication and systems sciences and technologies. The work is carried out in three scientific research departments : Computer Sciences, Robotics et Microelectronics. With a staff representing over 40 nationalities and numerous collaborative projects worldwide, LIRMM embodies a diverse and multidisciplinary research environment.
